About Sahar
Sahar is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and master’s-level clinician who works with children, adolescents, and families. She brings a thoughtful, interdisciplinary approach to therapy, with a strong foundation in child development, emotional regulation, and expressive interventions.
Sahar has experience supporting children and teens in a variety of settings, including work with youth with autism and developmental differences, as well as adolescents navigating emotional and behavioral challenges in mental health treatment environments. These experiences shaped her passion for helping young clients feel safe, understood, and supported as they work through anxiety, behavioral dysregulation, and developmental transitions.
As a child- and adolescent-focused clinician, Sahar utilizes evidence-based and developmentally appropriate approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs. She partners closely with families to strengthen communication, promote emotional growth, and support positive behavior change both at home and in the community.
Sahar is known for her warm, steady presence and culturally responsive approach to care. Her bicultural background and international lived experience allow her to practice with cultural humility and sensitivity, honoring each child and family’s identity, values, and lived experiences. She is committed to creating a supportive therapeutic environment where children and teens can build resilience, confidence, and healthy coping skills.
